Chill out time – drinks & dances TONIGHT
All the Christmas craziness starting to get to you? Come and groove it all away with us TONIGHT at the lovely Alicia Paulsen’s home, which has a big wooden floor & sound system upstairs!
We’ll be playing a mixed list of West Coast Swing, Modern Jive and Zouk music from 7:30pm @ 101 Mackworth St, Linwood.
You’re welcome to bring some snacks or bevvies with you, as long as we take all our rubbish away. There’ll be a koha box for a wee something to say Thank You to Alicia and her family for having us also. Christmas cheer optional

West Coast Swing Introductory course starts this Tuesday, 6th December
Come along and try the hottest new partner dance in New Zealand, West Coast Swing. It’s fun, smooth, stylish, sexy, and growing rapidly in popularity worldwide thanks to its exposure on YouTube.
First-timer deal: Only $20 for a 4 class pass (you must purchase this pass before the end of your first night).
Class starts at 7.30pm, please be there 15 mins beforehand to register your details with us and soak up the atmosphere.

Freestyle Practice Night this Tuesday, 8th October
With a number of West Coast Swing and Ceroc Modern Jive dance events coming up over the next two months many of us need a decent venue to practice in. This Tuesday will be putting on some moderately fast West Coast Swing/medium speed Modern Jive Music from 8pm to give everyone an opportunity to practice for upcoming performances or to just freestyle for the fun of it.
We’ll be reviewing the Give Me Everything routine beforehand at 7.15pm.

Epic West Coast Swing Dance Party – BE THERE!!!
Featuring top Aussie WCS dance stars, Holly and Allan Skinner from Raw Connection on the Gold Coast, it’s the dance party you don’t want to miss! Doors open at 7pm, party kicks off with an introductory WCS class at 7.30pm, then dancing through til 11pm. It’s going to be *EPIC*
Bring your friends and give them an inspirational introduction to WCS by showing them Australia’s best WCS dancers and giving them the opportunity to try WCS by doing the introductory class.

SwingImmersion Wrap-Up
Thanks to everyone who joined us for our SwingImmersion West Coast Swing weekender last weekend. A big thank you to Raechel and Shanon for coming down from Auckland and teaching such awesome workshops, heaps of cool stuff there for us to play with!
Special thank you also to Belinda for billeting Raechel and Shanon over the weekend, they reported that they were very well looked after indeed.
A big thank you also to Zoe for taking care of registrations, helping with all the logistics and greeting everyone with a smile at the door.
Thank you Darryn for your help on the logistical front.
